Health and Safety is paramount at The Scotland Build Expo 2016 and is subject to all statutory and local regulations in relation to health & safety. Additional regulations are also stated in the Olympia Rules & Regulations. However please note in particular the following important information:
All Exhibitors/associations using the space within the hall will have to produce their own Risk Assessment and Work Method Statement for the construction, dismantling and operation of the area they occupy within the times of the build/breakdown and show open times. These documents will need to be sent into the organiser at least 2 weeks before the show starts.

Working at Height, Lifting Operations, Provision and Use of Work Equipment and all other potentially hazardous operations must be carried out safely and in accordance with statutory and local regulations. Safe Working Practices must be adhered to at all times. All materials used must entirely consist of fire-retardant materials as required by fire regulations. Materials used for the construction of exhibition booths and feature areas should be non-combustible. There will be no naked flames, temporary gas lamps, smoke emitting equipment, and heat producing equipment or other such items in the Exhibition.
The use of any electrical, mechanical or other devices is to be agreed in writing with the organisers in advance. No toxic or hazardous material including pyrotechnics, flammable liquids, compressed gas, and dangerous chemicals will be permitted in the Exhibition.
Note, No vehicles will be allowed in the Exhibition during exhibition open times without prior written permission from the organiser.
