BIM Manager - Holmes Miller
I graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2013 and became a qualified Architect in early 2016. After being promoted to BIM manager in early 2018 at Holmes Miller, I’ve been responsible for the development and deployment of BIM standards, content and quality assurance for 67 Technical staff across 3 offices, Glasgow, London and Guangzhou
Through championing the use of parametric tools such as dynamo, Holmes Miller can now provide fast and cost effective validation of data, increased depth of embedded information, analysis of design and complex form making. This, combined with detailed and extensive development of in-house component libraries and standards, has contributed to the efficient delivery of contracts in education, sports, leisure, residential and justice sectors including BIM level 2 processes with delivery and validation of asset information for several prominent education and entertainment projects.
I am also an active committee member of the Glasgow Revit User Group, spreading knowledge about the use of Revit in the industry and speaking on a variety of relevant topics.
