Director, Employment and Housing Services - Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living
Over the last 25 years Grant Carson has gained experience of the Health, Social Care, Housing and Third sectors and is currently Director, Employment and Housing Services at Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living where he is responsible for a range of housing and employability related projects. GCIL is a Disabled Persons Organisation where over 70% of staff are disabled people providing a range of services to help disabled people live full independent lives in the community.
Grant also works as a Tribunal Member at the Ministry of Justice and as a Committee Member for the Big Lottery.
Grant graduated with a Psychology (Hons) degree and then completed a Postgraduate MSc in Information Technology at The University of Glasgow. As a disabled person since childhood, Grant has both personal and professional experience disability.
