Scottish Futures Trust
As an Associate Director within Scottish Futures Trust, Paul is a member of the Construction Review Delivery Team. This is a joint working group between Scottish Government and Scottish Futures Trust to deliver the recommendations of The Review of Scottish Public Sector Procurement in Construction which was published in October 2013.
Paul currently leads on a variety of workstreams which include the creation of a new Community Infrastructure Benchmark Database, development of a new Community Benefits Toolkit for Construction and development of a new Whole Life Appraisal Tool for the built environment.
Paul is also a member of the Scottish BIM Delivery Group. The objective of this group is to support and enable the Scottish Public Sector to adopt BIM Level 2 from April 2017. The work of this group is set out within the Scottish BIM Implementation Plan which was published September 2015.
With over 15 years within the construction industry, Paul has been involved in a variety of public and private sector projects which have ranged in terms of value, procurement and complexity. Paul is a chartered Quantity Surveyor by profession and spent 10 years delivering cost management services within an international construction consultancy before joining Scottish Futures Trust in Aug 2012.
