Compliance Manager - GRAHAM
My current role within GRAHAM is as a Compliance Manager, I am always asked what this involves, and it is a good question. I am responsible for ensuring that all our Projects and Frameworks achieve our KPI commitments. (Key Performance Indicators), whereby we have targets that need to be achieved for each client/projects. These include Recruitment, Training, Work Experience, my colleague works with the Training and Employment section, whereas I concentrate more on working with local SME’s, Supported Businesses, and Social Enterprises all of which helps the local economy/community where we have projects.
I am also the Considerate Constructors Champion for all our Projects within the Scottish Region, again, this is to highlight all the good things that we are doing both out-with our projects and the communities that we engage with but also as a company on the whole.
I am a Construction Ambassador and will attend Careers Events, schools and colleges to promote construction and the opportunities within. I fell into construction about 16 years ago and I have worked in various roles since then, there is so much to see and do and it is always great to see a project handed over to the client and the community.
