Vaughan Hart joined the Scottish Building Federation in October 2006, commencing employment as the Head of Employment Affairs, Deputy Chief Executive and latterly the Managing Director since January of 2013, having previously holding the position of UK Human Resources Executive for a Global FM Company for nearly ten years.
After spending the first part of his career in an Operational Management role Vaughan moved into Human Resource Management, focussing on Organisational Development, Employee Relations and Employment Law.
As Human Resources professional Vaughan is passionate about Organisational Development showing a keen interest in need for Competency and Skills for the future.
Whilst working with the Scottish Building Federation he held the position of Registrar of the Scottish Building Apprenticeship and Training Council (SBATC) who manage the terms and conditions of the majority of Apprentices engaged within the Construction Industry throughout Scotland. Since becoming the Managing Director of SBF Vaughan now holds the position of Employer’s Secretary of SBATC representing the interests of the Industry.
